tire size questions on 03 SE-R.

Hi. I have an 03 SE-R, running 195-55R/16 tires as the standard OEM size.This turns out to be an oddball tire size, which limits the choice of replacement tire. There are tons of choices in the 205-55R/16 size. Can I safely go up one tire size?If not, can you folks suggest any other alternatives? Also any suggestions on tire brands is welcome. I need a good summer tire with good wet weather traction.I don't need winter traction tires. I run winter tires on steel rims in the winter.Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Must be getting old. I asked this question as part of another thread, and forgot about it. Apparently going one size up should be OK. Thanks.
