Ok. I've searching around a bit, and i've came up short. Does any manufactater make a 225/40/17 Z-speed rated tire that is a good performance and handling tire? I've searched and I've only found some Falken Azenis that fit that this size. Anybody want to recommend some tires?Chris

If you go to the tire manufacters' websites...many of them state that they do make tires in that size, but they are impossible to find. 225/40/17's are hard to find and 225/35/17's are also hard to find but you might have slightly better luck. If you go 225/45/17's then you should have no problem at all, which is what i have decided to do because the other sizes are just too hard to find.

nitto and falken both make tires in the 225-40-17 size...why do you want that size anyway? the 235-40-17 is much more common...-chet

I to wanted 225/40-17 because is the perfect change from stock 205/55/15, but i didn't had any luck, i went with 235/40-17 from falken. That is the best i could do.

Now i'm in the same hellhole as you with the rear tires i was looking for 255/35/17 but i can't find nowhere and again only FALKEN has 245/35/17 for my 17x8 wheels.

And i know stock is 195/60-15 ;)

Yeah. The 225/40/17 size has nearly the exact same overall diameter. I was looking at putting them on a 7.5" wide rim so I don't want to go to wide in tire width. I don't think Nitto's are sold in Canada, but I could check again.Chris
