Hey guys I need new tires. The car has been stored for awhile, and I've got some dry rot starting between the treads. I have 19x8.5 ET20 running a 245/35 and rear 19x9.5 ET30 running 265/30. I initially wanted to maybe pickup some 18" wheels to run a little more sidewall and get something less flashy, but I am thinking its not in the financial cards, so I will leave the wheels as is for now.

Anyway, the front is extremely tight, so I dont think I want to do change anything there. The rears have a ton of room remaining. I have not measured yet, but I am thinking I could do a 275/30 easily on a 9.5 wheel and on the setup. What do you think of the 275 on a 9.5? Pending they would actually fit in the wheel well, what are your thoughts on a 285 on a 9.5 wheel? I have always wanted some steamrollers back there. Sounds like that may not be ideal.

Your limitting factor on the rear is going to be the fender. I have 275/40r18 +45 on the rear with about 1/8inch of fender clearance. So with a +20 i think the 275 would rub.

Even a +30 9.5 on the rear will likely be too much with a 275. I spent an enumerable amount of time emailing people on rimtuck to get to my conclusion. I would suggest that you find you a single 275/30 on craigslist or local forum and test fit. You can usually find used up tires super cheap or free.
