Ok would one of you tire size gurus be so kind as to help me with my tire size choice.

I have a 1993 Coupe with Sportlines and KYB's

The wheels I ordered are these specs

17x8.5 +15 Front

17x9.5 +30 Rear

I am not one for the super stretched look - just my opinion, looks kinda weird.

I was thinking either a 235 F and a 245 R

I am not sure on the sidewall height though

Help please -

did you have any rubbing problems in the rear?

You think a 255 would work?

you've got lots of options in tires with that setup..

my personal setup with that sizing would be a 235-45-17 and a 255-40-17. (it'd be a bit small..ideal rims are 8"f and 9" rear with those tires) but for sterious driving that should work great :)-chet

What do you all think of the Yokohama AVS Sport?

Seems like a decent tire - not too terribly expensive - roughly $150-160 a tire

It's a great sticky tire and the price is hard to beat. $146.00 and $155.00 each in the 235/45-17 size and 255/40-17 sizes.

Thanks Grant, I'll give you a call when the wheels are going to ship. I will also need tires for my fiancee's maxima in the next month. I give you a ring

Thanks
