Tire size check

I may be buying a set of wheels sized 16x7 +38 and 16x8 +38 and I need some outside opinions on my tire sizing. I figured a 215/50/16F and 225/50/16R. I don't think these sizes will throw my speedo off too much. Opinions?

that or 205/55 front with 225/50 rear, which would keep the OD's more in line

Yeah, I looked into 205s and I might just go with them because the 215s may become harder to find in that exact size.
