Hi, I have 07 infiniti g35x, and I would like to put 20" aftermarket rims on my car and I just wonder ,do I need to install the tire sensors with the rim too?. Will my tpms ( tire pressure monitor system) light up if I do not have tire sensors?. Thanks

When it senses the TPMS sensors aren't there, it will light up the indicator on the dash and make a god awful noise for like 20 seconds. From then on, it will just keep the light on. Why not just have the TPMS sensor swapped to the new wheels. Most new wheels are being designed to accept the sensors now.

Yes , but I live in detroit,Mi . There are alot of snow here. That why I want to keep the factory wheels for winter. Is there anyway to bypass the TPMS ?. Thanks

Just live with the annoying light for a few months during the winter.
