Sorry to resurrect this post from the dead... i found it via google search.

iv been looking for tires for my subaru, and the ss595 looks like a worthwhile experiment for me... but i have a question, would a 235/40r17 work on a 17x7 rim? or is that too wide... thats the width i want, but i cant afford new rims (i just bought these used for a great deal)
