Tire Ruined??!

hows it going, i got kumhos ecsta mx 205/55/16's 3-4 months ago and now i got a flat today and found the rear left has a nail in it !!! the tire guys told me they they can patch it and dont want to plug it, but it wont perform as well, teh complexity of the ruber is changed, my question is, is this true? so i should replace ASAP, or could still drive it, drift it, etc.

This is only my suggestion, but if there's a Discount Tire near you, take it there. Those guys are usually VERY helpful and they won't hesitate to remove the tire from the wheel and plug it correctly from the inside.

I've seen plenty of tires repaired, and usually I'm told it's nearly as strong as it was new. Next time you buy tires, consider the road hazard warranty. It's amazing how much it covers. Good luck.
