Tire rubbing coilover after curb check

Front left tire is rubbing on the coil over after the curb check, i bent the tie rod so i replaced ith tiens.. still rubbing i dont see anything else bent.

Any ideas? 225 on 17's

Did you get your alignment checked. Sounds like it could be a sub-frame issue if not and alignment one. But good luck nonetheless, curb checks suck

i have to wait tell monday tell i do the alignment, could that really be it?.. i was thing sub frame my self.. is that fixable? unibody so i am assuming no lol

Tension rod could be slightly bentLCA could be sliglty bentCoilover could be slightly bent.

What were the results from the alignment

and FYI your Tension rod/ tie rod/ LCA will bend/give before your Front subframe will.

just how hard did you hit the curb, and at what angle?

i would say 15 mph maybe, and about 20 degrees. alignment happens on monday.

post back up after alignment ill guarantee its way off on that side, and if they cant fix it then one of either of those parts are bent

i was backing up the other day, and the wheel wobbled.. broken spindle or hub assembly?

My subframe bent before my LCA bent. Tie rod was damaged, but the angle at which the previous owner hit the curb transferred all the force to where the LCA bolts to the crossmember. Very rare, but it can happen haha.

Have you gotten an alignment yet? Lug nuts tight? Have you gotten new tie rods?

Jack the car up and shake the wheel, isolate where the movement is coming from and replace that part. You'll probably have to take the wheel off, so remember you'll need to apply more force to make it "wobble" as if the wheel was on.
