OK, so I finished my 5-lug/z-brake swap from hell. :pface

Now I have another problem...I'm getting slight tire rub in the front when the wheel is turned about 3/4 or more (from the center). I didn't think I'd have a rubbing issue b/c my wheels are appropriately sized. In the front, they are 17x7.5" 30mm offset (G35 coupe wheels). Tires are 225/45/17. I'm running KYB Buzz Specs w/ Ground Control coilovers. I haven't had a chance to inspect anything since it's night out here, but I'm hoping for some opinions as to what could be causing it. Thanks!

:help :)

hrmmm...dunno. Maybe caster or camber problems, I wouldnt think that setup would rub, it doesnt rub on my car, I have the exact same wheel sizing and offset, are you sure the G35 coupe wheels are +35, I thought they were higher than that.

do you know what its rubbing on exactly?-chet

G35 Coupe wheel specs are 17x7.5" 30mm Front and 17x8" 33mm rear. The sedan version's (looks almost exactly the same) sizes are 17x7" 40mm all around. I have the Coupe wheels. :)

I checked out the car this morning. It was pretty easy to spot, the driver's side front tire (only when turning right) rubs the inner fender lining. It's happening b/c the lining is being pushed out by a wire loom that seems to have fallen out of place. I'll have to remove the fender this weekend and relocate the loom w/ some zip-ties. Lovely.

Thanks!
