Hey guyz.. Long time reader.. first time poster.. I'll prob be more active from here on out though.. lolAnywayz.. my question is about possible tire sizes.I'm pretty sure that you could fit 275/18s in the back.. correct me if i'm wrong. but i'm wondering if there is any possibility of getting 275s to fit on the front?

I am trying to make that decision as well.. depending on what would fit.. trying to do on limited funds .. so was considering Mille Miglia EV-SThey are listed with 18x8s for front and 18x9s for the rear.. wondering if 18x9 would maybe fit front. good price .. nice look.. $239/wheel

and by the way.. where can u get the 4.11 rear-end, how much is it, and wutz it put shift points to?

I AZHitman is the only I know oif running 18's. I know a few other were looking into it, and I think Jeff Williams has even gotten some 18" rims.

Wes, has 17's on the front and 18's on the rear.

yah... i've read into some of who has what.. 17's are great.. but don't think that can fit 275s onto the 17s available.. not unless dropping serious cash on like some BBS rims or something like that

According to Tirerack (a site sponsor) 18x8's and 18x9's will fit with a 245/40 & 275/35 staggered set up. Otherwise, 245/40's all the way around on 18x8's seems to be the recommendation.

I currently have 245s all around, and i agree 245s is better than it would be to have 245/275 staggered.. that would upset the balance.. unless was supercharged/turbo'd and needed it .. lol.. maybe i'm just dreamin' bout the 275s on all 4 but just THINK of the road carving.. hehe..

Luxury car, high performance tire sizes, doesn't want to shell out for high end wheels. I call this "The Great Struggle"

There is no simple answer until money is involved as well as test fitting, which sometimes takes money..

..and back to my cave I go..

dude.. a set of high-end racing rims.. would be as much as the car.. besides.. i want to retain some of that lux look too.. lol..i understand that the only way to know for sure is testing.. which is exactly why i'm on here asking.. to see if anyone else has tried it..

I know you can get a 265 series tire on a 18x8.5.. I would think that should be enough....

For the front, you want a 255-40... You can get 265-40 on the 8.5s... Im not sure if 9in wide wheels will clear without spacers...

Remember, just becaues you have a wider tire DOES NOT mean the car is going to handle better!!!

I run 18x8s & 18x9s with 245s & 255s. I have 18x10s with 285/35s for my Z31 that fit the rear of my Q. Just barely. So if the offset were right, 275s would fit. I got my wheels from ebay for $735 shipped for all four.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...43958These wheels fit on my Q. 18x10 with 285/35 tire. They just don't look right on the Q. Too hot rod.

Oh I almost forgot. I also have a set of 17x8s & 17x9s with 255s & 275s on them that also fit my Q. They have Yokohama A032R tires for racing on them. All three sets of wheels that I have fit Z32 Twin Turbos as I had a 95 TT. The 17s are from the TT. My 18x8s & 18x10s are made for the TT. So it seems that Qs & TTs have the same wheel offsets. I bolted on front & rear upper links from my TT to my Q along with solid front tension rods. The struts would bolt in from a TT also. The Q & the TT share many parts.

I run 255/45/17 on 17" x 8" rims, all the way around on the silver Q, and 245/40/18 on 18" x 8" on the black Q. I had the staggered tires, but went back to the same size, so I could rotate the tires regularly.

255's are kinda tight on the front, unless you want to add some spacers, to clear the suspension.

Thx guyz. This has been really helpful. Wes .. yah .. i know that more rubber doesn't always mean better.. but .. if i do end up getting this it won't be my daily driver tires.. they'll prob be a set of hoosiers for drag/auto-x use. So.. if i was to go with 265s on 8.5" wide rims. that would be a pretty tight setup.. anybody have any #s for me as far as offset goes?

These are For Sale fwiw, cheap. OZ Opera, 18x8, 18x9, both +35 offset.

The tires I had on them were brand new, but lightly scrubbed. So I can tell you a 245/45 18 on a 18x8 with a +35 offset is just slightly aggressive to not scrub the inside of the outer fenderwell. Put a set of 275/35's on the 9's & 245/40's on the 8's & you'll be in good shape.

Yeah, I lke them, a lot. But I removed the tires from what you see in the pic to install the tires on some Maxima wheels for someone so now my raggedy BBS's are back on temporarily.

So the OZ's sit here in perfect condition with maybe 5k miles of use. If interested, make an offer.

I'm also selling some Brembo F50 calipers, a set of 17x7" Volk GTP's 4x100 with 205/45's and some other stuff sitting around.

Yeah Wes, they're F50 (Ferrarri) calipers. They are the foundation for the Brembo GT brake kits. To fit them on a Q, you would need about $1000 worth of stuff from BrakePros.com (Stillen, Schtealin)

I have the build sheet of their part numbers for the necessary parts if anyone's interested.
