I ordered originally 225/45s only to realize i could put the 245/45s on it but none the less Im fine with the slightly smaller tires. needless to say i have NO lack of traction and i'm positive this tire is easy capable of doing great at the track. steering feel is extremely responsive and very precise. Its like having a scalpel to crave the roads! they are very predictable and have very high lateral grip. get it side ways and just hammering down the throttle results in a point and shoot affect that makes it EASY to carve out turns. my car went from a great handling sport luxury car to being able to have high precision on any road.
I can't wait to take it to the track to see what happens now.. as far as ride comfort, don't expect this tire to be forgiving. its just a trade off of the high steering precision and lateral grip. they aren't terrible but they surely wont be praised for comfort. it doesn't matter if you want to upgrade your tires because they can give you up to 10 feet shorter stopping distance over the stocks OR if you just like the sporty feel of high performance tires OR if you want to take it to the track and test the limits. i highly recommend experiencing this tire..

I'm a fan. I had the 205/50/15 Direzza Z2's on my Miata. Nothing short of amazing!
