I have the 2k4 spec rims for my 240. They have the stock contisports on them right now. Since it's winter and I have my cougar, I haven't driven the car since end of summer. I'm looking for a good autox tire for the spec v wheels. I was thinking something in the size of 225-45-17. They are 17" by 7". I have the kuhmo ecsta supra 712's getting installed on my cougar wednesday.

215-45-17 fits perfect.

Anything sticky will work great on a 240...

try a BFgoodrich Gforce sport or similar...

A 225-45-17 won't gain you anything on a 7" wheel..it'll be pinched, IMO.And you may run into clearance issues with wider tires since the sentra spec V wheels use higher offsets...

i stuck with the 215/45/17 for my spec v rims due to exactly what exar said. there is only one gain to getting 225s and that gain is the higher price u pay for the 225.
