tire recomendation

what tire would you guys reccomend seeing as i have a 2 inch drop, im looking to soon buy some used rims around town in the classifieds and il probly end up with 17x7's. and most likely run spacers. still in high school workin part time and just cant afford to buy NEW wheels wider than 7 ect, thanks in advance nicoheads

i didnt make it clear in the first post, but im wonderin size, somethin to help the fender gap, im not lookin to get a tire that will solve the problem 100% i know thats not happening, i was thinkin 235/45 maybe? lookin for numbers

Lol... 235 is too wide for a 7 inch wheel. You're more likely gonna end up with some 215/40/17's. I ran this for a while myself. When I went to 215/45/17 the car felt sluggish because of the slightly larger diameter of the tire.

Why are you restricting yourself to 7 inch wheels? What's your budget for wheel and tires? hell, I got some forged 16x8.5 (I think 8.5) with tires (pretty worn) for like $300. Search the classifieds... you should be able to find something decent there...

Oh yeah... and my Nitto Neo Gens are treating me nice.

ahh maybe 500 for a budget? its just i have to do other things first, wheels arent the first prority, i just wanted some advice in advance, but when i start to get a good amount of money il start my search
