The type of driving you do and the weather conditions where you live should be your guide. I always go with "ultra high performance A/S". So far the only two tires I recommend in that class are the Michelin ZPilot Super sports +(or current equivalent) and the Ventus S1noble2 which I currently use. They see hot weather with huge puddles all year - no snow in South Florida, although on treks to the north, the Ventus did fine in 3 inches of snow and slush when driving according to the conditions. They are not loud tires but provide unbelievable stability in hard braking on wet roads and plenty of grip for spirited driving at high speeds. And they cost less than Michelins. After 20k miles, still gobs of tread left but a slight increase in road noise.
The tires you mentioned are, I believe, in the 'touring' class - less performance but definitely great tires. pics in my sig.
A great place to see video tests and compare tires is Tire Rack.
