I have about 15k on my tires and yesterday my car was sliding in all sorts of directions in the snow. Do you guys think it is time I change my tires? Now the next question is my dealership gives me free tires for life. Should I get the same stock tires put on or should I go with the Michellen Eagle Tires? Thanks

You live in NJ. You are going to experience some nasty road conditions in winter. You need to do the summer/winter rims/tires thing like I do up here in the Great White North. I replaced my 18x8 wheels, 235/45x18 tires with 16x7.5 steel wheels and 215/60x16 tires for the winter. I put on Nokian Nordman tires and they are GREAT! Save your summer wheels from the ravages of winter and get a second set of cheap steel wheels and good winter tires. Sounds expensive but you save money in the long run.

I think he meant to get new tires from your dealer and sell them..instead of using them yourself..then you can use the cash to get better tires..
