I have about 15k on my tires and yesterday my car was sliding in all sorts of directions in the snow. Do you guys think it is time I change my tires? Now the next question is my dealership gives me free tires for life. Should I get the same stock tires put on or should I go with the Michellen Eagle Tires? Thanks

I would chage it up, I am not to thrilled with the stock tires but I'm gonna wear 'em out...they were ok last winter and there was a lot of snow, but I have 18K on them now, and they definitley don't give me great confidence...I think I'm gonna wear 'em out then go with soemthing different. I despise Bridgestone Potenzas, they sucked on my Z they are barely adequate on my A/C, now the G/Y they put on the Titan weren't too bad I must say..could get around pretty good everywhere and weren't to loud on the road...I don;t know what I'll pick but I guarantee it won;t be stock Potenzas again.

Well if you have the opportunity for free tires, and can get free winter tires, I would definately change them out. I just changed my stocks to Blizzaks for the winter, and thank god because its snowing out here today, and the ice storm last week almost killed me 5 times on my way to Sunday River.

This morning i backed out of my girlfriends steep driveway with no problem, the blizzaks were amazing. For absolute positive certain (and i cant stress it enough) there would be no way I could have backed out of that driveway without the blizzaks on. Pulling into her driveway is a steep decline, and I had trouble getting out in the ice last year at about 5k miles on. I had 22k on my stocks, and now the stock rims will be my winter rims. Ill get a new tire/wheel package to be my summer ones.

Michelin Eagle's eh? Those must be new...

Haha, I think you have 2 different tires mixed up - Michelin Pilot's and the Goodyear Eagle lines...

Either way, the stock tires on the 2.5 and the 3.5 are garbage - moreso on the 2.5. I would highly recommend getting an all season version of the michelin pilot line, as IMO, these are the best tires out there (and if you get them for free, then hell yea!!!!). The Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S is also a very good tire, as well as the Eagle GT's, which are new. I don't know if there are price ranges you get for free, but you can always try!

I would definatly get new ones though - Michelin Pilot line (Sport a/s, XGT, etc...) or the Goodyear Eagle (f1 a/s, GT, etc) are all very good tires.

lol my fault i confused the two tires.. I just called my dealer and they informed me i would be getting new Bridgestong Turanza back on my car if i wanted free tires? Opinions on if I should do it? I do not want to get winter tires because in several months it will warm out again and winters arent to good in the summer.

+1 - the stock tires are garbage, but someone would probably buy them brand new...some tire places around will even buy them off you for like $50 a tire if they have less than 75 miles on them...
