2011 Coupe without TPSM showing warning screen!!

I have been driving around with my aftermarket rims for about 2 months now without TPSM and all I would get was the little light but a few days ago every time I turn on my car a warning message pops up on the little screen on the speedometer saying to check my tire pressure.... The light was not annoying but having to take this off every time I turn on the car its getting a bit annoying. Does this happen to everyone that doesn't have TPSM? If not why is this happening to me and how can I get rid of it, other than installing TPSM..

Thats weird.... it just came on a few days ago after not having the TPSM for about 2 months.

I've had my wheels for about 2 yrs with no TPSM and i never seen that .

Under the maintainence minder settings for oil and filter change intervals you can also specify tire intervals. I assumed it was for rotation, but maybe it's to remember to check the pressure?

Def has to be a 2011 thing, ive had my tpms light come on but just the little thing on the side, and my brother has to with his 2010 and same thing. Never seen the whole thing light up like that.

I already checked the settings and their isn't anything there. I'm not sure why this is coming up. I looked online and I can't find anything about it. It might just be a new thing with the 2011's

Anybody with a 2011 Coupe driving without TPSM is this happening to you.

Nah, they're doing it so they can charge you $500 for a new set + installation.
