I just bought a used 2004 G35x. Someone put over 40 psi in the tires and I can't get the tire pressure warning light to go out after reducing the airpressure to the suggested 30 psi. Should I have the ECU reset?

Welcome to Nico,

The tire pressure should be over 30. 30 is where the alarm goes on. Try to put it up to 34-35. It should say on your car the suggested pressure. I am pretty sure it is somewhere 34. There is a little sticker with all the information on it when you open the driver door. Let us know if you still have problem after the pressure is good. Please also note the sensor goes off after maybe 1-2 minutes of driving.

Mine came on Monday morning. I checked the pressure in all four tires and they were all at 35lbs. After I made an appointment at the dealer for today (Saturday) the light went out on Wednesday so I cancelled the appointment. If you've got 35lbs in all four tires ( use a good quality dial pressure gauge & not the ones at the gas station) & the light does not go out it is probably a defective sensor which the dealer can locate.

I have all mine set to 35. Keep in mind... you may have to drive a couple km's (or a mile for you US folks) before the light goes off again once you fill to the proper PSI

34-35 should be fine for the coupe, Lau's G was having the same issue @ 30lbs so we went ahead and put 5 more, took care of the light.
