Anybody know how to reset or disable this on a 2003 M45? With the cold weather tires drop pressure and then get back up to 30psi once they warm up, but the beeping is driving me crazy (first winter with the M45). Thanks in advance.

Have not been able to find the recommended tire pressure but 30 PSI seems a little low. I believe it probably around 33 PSI. You really need to look at the tire pressure placard (inside left rear door) that shows the recommended tire pressure and adjust the tires to that when they are cold. According to the owners manual, the low pressure warning should only come on when the pressure is below 27 PSI (page 6-2).

I have the same problem. First real cold weather snap we had my system freaked out and said I had a flat. I went home and checked tire pressures with a digital gauge and all was normal but the cars sensors were reading different. The gas gauge was reading off too. Almost ran out of gas even though it was reading I had a half tank. The electronics seem to despise the cold weather. I'm wondering if it is faulty equipment and need to take it in to get replaced.

You should run about 36psi when warm.

My tire pressure dropped from 32 (how it came when I bought the car) down to 26psi :\ Might look into a digital tire pressure reader, the gas stations air pressure was reading 31 and the car was reading 26-29psi.

Definitely worth getting a good tire pressure gauge - either digital or analog, although good analog ones tend to be expensive.

Also, I strongly recommend keeping the tires at or above 36 psi ... the mftr recommendations tend to be a bit lower than I like, unless you check and adjust daily!

Typically, tires will drop 1 to 2 psi every couple of weeks anyway, so erring on the high side (like 36 psi) will give you a bit of leeway till you check again.
