My tire pressure light has malfunctioned (blinks for 60sec and then turns solid). Is there a way to reset it without going to the dealership?

I would like to know as well. One person at the service department said that it should reset once the desired pressure is met. He said that a difference of 2 psi between any of the tires will make it go off, as well as a leak, even a slow slow one, or if any of the tires are below the desired psi. The desired value is calibrated for sea level, 28psi, so where we live at 5500 feet, he said they usually have to set them around 35-38 psi.

I dont have any leaks, and I have all my tires set to 37psi, its still on so I dont know. I know I was able to reset the air bag light after I took my dash apart by doing a sequence with the ignition. I hope the tire pressure light turns out to be the same way.

I find that mine will come on when the temperature gets below 15 degrees F. Several years ago someone suggested running the pressure up 5-7 psi above normal and then driving at normal speeds for a few miles. The light usually goes off for me within 10 miles and then I bring the tires back to normal pressure.
