Hi,

I'm looking for a good place to buy the tire pressure sensors online.
I've seen a few for sale on eBay, but don't know if they're the right ones.

Also, they need to ship to Canada.

Any help is appreciated!

I have no experience with TPMS, but I would recommend calling TireRack.com and getting their recommendation. You need to find sensors that are compatible with the Rougue and that will fit your wheels. Their number is 1-888-541-1777

TPMS is something I wish I could elect not to have. My '12 Rogue never an issue. The '09 Rogue they would go off if the tires were 2psi low, very annoying when you go from 30 degrees one day to -30 degrees the next in Minnesota.

my light has been on for years, and i couldnt care any less. i check my tires visually daily, and with a gauge monthly.
tpms clearly was enacted into law, because someones family member would have benefited greatly. its total BS

Thanks for the info.

I gave them a call, but they were more expensive than the dealer!
I guess I'll just go the dealer route.

Hello, Anyone have a good source to buy a new set of 4 TPMS sensors for the 2014+ new Rogues ? Not at dealer $$$ way to expensive.

Thanks for sharing. :)

Would you happen to know your original TPMS sensor ID numbers. I have a TPMS programmer and I can clone sensors. If you use a second set of tires, then you don't need to worry about re-programming vehicle every tire swap.

That information you need to get yourself by reading the ID's directly written on sensor, using a TPMS activation tool to read the sensor. Another method is to use a scan tool and read what the BCU has stored for the ID information.

Hello, I have been wanting a few questions answered about my 2014 Nissan Rogue SV. I am new to this forum, and I have used the search option, but could not find a solid answer. I am buying 18" 2012 Nissan Rogue SL stock wheels. They do not have the tpms sensors on them. I currently have the stock 17" wheels on my rogue, but am storing those wheels in my garage for a while. I am wanting to buy a new set of TPMS sensors for the 18" wheels, as well as tires. Question I have here is which TPMS sensors do I need to purchase exactly for my new wheels. And once I get them installed, do I have to reprogram them, or will they automatically adjust after a few miles of driving on them? I was told the Nissan Rogue could only have 4 TPMS programmed, but in my case I would want to have 8. 4 on my stock 17s and 4 on the 18s. So if I got tired of riding on the 18s, I would want to just put the 17s back on, and not have to reprogram again, simply just drive and after a few miles hoping it would automatically adjust itself. Is this even possible? Someone told me something about cloning my stock ones I currently have, but have no idea what that means. Can someone please help me get the part # I need for the new set of 4 sensors, and the best way to do what I want to do? Thanks for all your help!! :)

I've been out of the dealer game for a bit. So i'm not 100%.

You can only have 4 programmed to a car any car that i'm aware of. You simply ride by the dealer they run around it with a beeper magic box and poof light turns off assuming tire pressure is within the parameters.

That said a lower profile tire normally requires a higher pressure to prevent being bent. So you will likely have to run them right at the limit say 34 psi cold. Even then pending tire profile might not be enough pressure if you go beyond it then you get a light. Normally blinking for pressure wrong. Depends manufacture. I never worked for a nissan dealer so no clue if that helps only subaru and hyundai.

If you really don't need the light just yank the bulb or drill it with a tiny drill bit. (although selling it could get sticky possibly)

There are aftermarket tire pressure systems i've seen im sure they make a model that is adjustable or can "hold" multiple wheels. Not sure if that walks around the law of tampering with tpms. Its your car tho right...

Yep, the idiot light for the TPMS system on your dash will stay illuminated all winter and I don't think you can get it inspected like that in the event you have to.

Ok I did further research and those rims came off a 2012 Nissan Rogue SL. Its showing nissan part # 40700JK01B. But the Rogue I have is the newer version. 2014 and the Part # for my car is 407003VU0A. I want to use these older 18 inch rogue rims on my newer rogue. So my question is do I purchase tpms sensors for my 2014 rogue or the ones for the 2012 Rogue?

Your Rogue's on-board computer will read the output from the sensors, not the rims. In order for the newer system in your car to work correctly you're going to need to use the sensors designed for it, not the ones from the 1st gen.

If anyone wants an extra set of TPMS sensors, I found these on Amazon. Best price I've seen for a set of 4:

Listed for use on "Nissan". You'll need to confirm if it fits your Rogue.
