I just upgrade my wheels to bigger size (17->19) When transfering the tire pressure sensors from the old rims to the new rims, do I have to keep track which sensor belong to right or left / front or rear? Does it need to reprogram for the new tires and rims? Thanks in advance for your advices.

You don't need to keep track of which goes where.

You don't need to reprogram.

All you need to worry is if they are installed properly.

I speak from experience.

Edit: You may also want to make sure you are using proper tire size to keep your wheel diameter the same. I think 245/40/19 or 245/35/19

You don't have to because Infiniti is not smart enough to know which side is which. It only knows your tire pressure is low.

Zo: You raised a question... Does the tire pressure sensor have the ability to know the difference from an OEM tire at 35 psi versus a low profile tire at 45 - 50 psi? I've always assumed the system takes an average of all four and when one is out of the range, da lite comes on?

I don't think so. It set to 30 psi. I believe. I am not sure if it is adjustable or not. I can find out later this week when I talk to my friend who has it installed on his low profile tires.

I don't think the system is smart enought to know each tire pressure. All it looks for is a differance or rapid loss of pressure. Say you set the pressures at 35 psi at all 4. And you run over a nail, and one tire looses a set pressure over the others (most cars it is 6 psi) then it will set the light.

The system is designed to activate when a tire is less than 30 psi. It doesn't care how fast the pressure is lost. Once the threshold is reached, the sensor will alarm. Overpressure is not a problem (for the sensors).

No but it won't function when it is slowly going down till it hits 30 psi. If I have a low profile and I hit 30 psi and I did not feel how badly it pulls to side. I should not drive. heheh I called my friend and he said it is not adjustable. He has no pressure monitor in his car in summer time. He left the set for the winter.
