I have an Altima coupe 2008 and my tire pressure (orange {!}) looking light is staying on. My tire pressure is all fine and many have suggested the sensor could be broken. I was wondering how much/where I could buy this at. The dealership told me it was going to be around 200... -_- it is a shady place and have not taken it to a legit place yet.

They're cheap on amazon (like $40) and then take it to a tire shop and they'll put it in. Here's the stupid part though--even though they have the reprogramming machines to make the light go off, they wont work---you have to pay the nissan dealer like $100 for them to reprogram it :( Happened to me.

It absolutely has to be Nissan? Are you sure no other tire shop can do it?

I think it absolutely has to be nissan because they are the only ones who have the proper reprogramming machine...I had two places clear/reprogram the light but it just came back on the next day.

Depends on what needs to be reset. For most cases the tools at Discount Tires will suffice, but if the system needs to be reprogrammed then a Nissan Dealership has to do it with their Consult II/III device.

DAMNNN Stacey that sucks they even charged YOU $100 for the programming! My guy at my Nissan dealership reprogrammed mine when i swamped them out into my summers for nothing. They just use their fancy handheld computers and just hold them next to each sensor then to plug into the OBD port i think (Or other way around) it literally took him a minute to do all four. To OP, you can get the sensors cheap as long as you dont mind buying them used, got a used set for $45 shipped for all four off fleebay, they looked like new when i got them.
