Hey guys,

Im wondering if the A/C has tire air pressure sensors. The reason for the question is because i read somehwere here about getting new rims/tires and transplanting a sensor. If so, where can i find out the PSI of my tires? Ive checked the control panel in teh car but theres no display for it. Does it come up only if my tire pressure is too low or what?

Thanks.

Yes, your car has TPMS. They do not read out tire preasure, they only warn you when tire preasure drops.

I was just out driving and noticed that my tire pressure sensor came on. I'm not sure if I drove over anything that may have caused this, but it's possible. What is the normal (cold) pressure for the wheels? I can check it in the morning. Just want to know if I should be taking this to the dealership...

Just fill your tires to 32-35psi and drive for a bit and it should turn off automatically.

I just checked my cold tire pressure, and every tire was about 27-28 psi. I just hope I don't have a nail or something that could be deflating the tire.

when extremely cold outside your tire pressure can decrease as much as 5psi (depending on tire size). this does not mean add more air to your tires, this means simply drive 100 feet and the air molecules will move around, warm, and expand and your pressure will be right back where it should be.

I understand that air pressure in the tires decreases when ambient temperature decreases. However, when I measured the cold temperature in the morning, it was at around 28 psi, so I pumped it back up to 35 psi, drove a bit, and then light turned off. If it stays off, I will check the pressure again to make sure it is at the recommended level of ~32psi.
