Okay.. the TPMS light just came on in my altima 08 sedan about 2 or 3 days ago.. went to the gas station to pump some air.. i checked the tires with a tire gauge.. and the front ones said that it has 35-37.. and checked the backs.. 25-29.. so it is lower than the psi required.. so pump the backs and rechecked all tires.. i made sure i'm around 33-35 psi.. drove a little bit.. and light came on.. now i'm not sure how long does that supposed to last.. because today.. the light came on again... i'm not sure if it's a good idea to pump the tires to at least 40... since in two days.. i will be driving more than 80 miles.. and i don't want the light to come on.. or have any problems at all while in the highway.. the weather over has been muggy and wet... which is probably the reason why the tires deflated.. so should it be a good idea to go over a the psi requirement?

thanks!

The pressure recommended by Nissan is 33psi all around - the light should generally go off after driving over 15mph for a couple of minutes when you fill the tires....if it persists, bring it to the dealer to double check that you don't have a faulty sensor.

And he continues hahaha

Anyway ya my light came on the other day, I need to check my pressure pronto because I've been doing a lot of highway driving lately and I'm always scared I'm going to blow out
