I recently had my MO serviced and they changed the nuts on the tire valve stems per a recall for vehicles that are operated in states where the roads are salted in the winter. Since that time, after driving 10 - 15 miles, the tire pressure monitor light begins to blink and then remains on. In an earlier post I blamed it on overinflation of the tires. Now that they are adjusted to the factory spec, the problem continues. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks folks.

that is strange, have you checked the PSI when the vehicle has been sitting for some time? I had an issue where my PSI was perfect in my Altima, but the light was still on, several days later on a long 2hour ride on the highway, the light finally went off, I had planned to take it to the dealer. For whatever reason, it took that long to reset.

Since a dealer did your service and your TPMS was fine before the work was done, just take it back and have them check it out. Likely, all that is needed is a resynching of the 4 wheel sensors with the low tire pressure warning control unit. This only takes a few minutes - you won't even have to schedule your car in or leave it to have it done. This is something my dealer doesn't charge for, even if they haven't worked on your TPMS. I know, because my daughter had this done (by a dealer) on her Quest after a tire place F'd up one of the sensors while replacing a tire, and had to install a new one.

Have been to the dealer twice since they did the work and they can't figure it out. I called Nissan customer service today and they promised to have their regional office contact me by tomorrow. We'll see.
