Here's a strange one. I purchased a Garmin 755T GPS (which includes traffic notifications). It appears that when I use it, the Tire Pressure Monitor system will indicate a fault by blinking repeatedly and then remain on constantly. BTW, it is installed in a 2009 Murano SL without nav but pretty much everything else. Any ideas guys/gals? Thanks, Howard

Hmmm, very interesting. I guess it is certainly possible. You should ask the dealer to see if they have any ideas.

I have now made three trips to the dealer to resolve this issue. They replaced the TP sensor in one wheel that they claimed was defective. Still no resolution to the problem. I undertook my own research project and after many hours on the Web I found a post on the NissanHelp.com site that described a similar problem on a Nissan vehicle although not a Murano. The problem was solved by lowering the tire pressure which was found to be overinflated. I know that when my vehicle was last serviced, the dealer replaced the nuts on all the valve stems as part of a recall. I reasoned that they must have checked the tire pressure. I checked the pressure myself and found that they had overinflated each tire by 5 psi. So, instead of the factory recommended 33 psi I had 38 psi in each tire . After driving 10 miles or so, the pressure must have topped 40 psi. I lowered the pressure to the factory spec of 33 psi and have not had a problem since (yet). Hopefully this solved the problem but time will tell. The moral of the story is --check the dealer's work as they are not geniuses!
