How do you reset the tire pressure monitor after changing a tire? Mine keeps on coming on every so often.

It resets itself by you driving for a little while.

Are you sure you don't have a low tire?

32 psi at 80 degrees is not 32 psi at 40 degrees so if its just going off in the morning maybe check tire pressure when they are cold.

If your sure you don't have a low tire take it to the dealership its an 06 should be under warranty. I know that the TPMS kit in the valve stem is supposed to be replaced/rebuilt every time you change the tire because the machine that removes the old tire off the wheel can damage it. At least thats what the tire shop told me when I got new tires 3,000 miles ago.

It should go off after all the tires are above 30psi. If not, try to reset the car's ECU. Simply disconnect the negative battery terminal, and pump the brakes a few times to discharge the remaining voltage. Reconnect the terminal and start the car. If it still hasn't gone away after a mile or so of driving, take it to the dealer.

+1

That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. They are problably telling you to change TP sensor because they do not know what they are doing and damage them when they do a simple tire change.

My advice, never buy tires from that place again.
