Using the Z's onboard tpms readout gauge, the pressure in my tires read as the following R: 34 , 33F: 32, 35

I checked the tire press with an actual pen type tire gauge and heres what the read outs were..

R: 28, 26F: 29, 28 ??

I'm requesting for a certain amount of people to individually check the tp of each tire, record it, then use the computer and record what the readout says.

I haven't used an actual pen gauge since like the month of december and was wondering if it was common for the computer to be so off, just mentioning this since i was reading an article on how the pressure in your tires can actually affect your gas mileage.

byah. dunno if i can trust the computer anymore lolits what you get for beeing too lazy.

The pen type pressure guages are not always accurate. In fact most of the ones I've tested have been way off. Get yourself a good named brand dial gauge. Mine is spot on with my navi read out on the Titan.

Just be careful if you drop any of the dial gage type, from my experience they will be terribly off. I would trust your z over a stick type tire gage.

I actually just opened up my new one as it reads 20 psi without it even being pressed against the valve stem. Turns out it skipped some of the gear teeth internally. So yeah, I can see the potential for these having issues if you drop them (assuming they are very similar in internal design). I did fix it and it matches my other gauge precisely.
