I just purchased a 2011 Nissan Versa and my tire pressure light comes on when its cold but once the tire warm up it goes off. Is this normal?

Have you checked your pressure when cold? you could be right on the borderline, and when the tires warm up(air expands) it may be just inside the limit.the only time my light came on was when my driver front tire got low, I added air and have not seen it since. It should only come on if one or more tires are low.

Um yes - for a fixed amount of an ideal gas kept at a fixed temperature, P [pressure] and V [volume] are inversely proportional (while one doubles, the other halves).

You need to check your cold tire temperature, inflate to recommended specs.

I checked the pressure this mourning and all 4 tires were 30psi. I put 5 more psi in the tires.... problem solved no more light! :)
