Just like the title... I'd like to see what a 205/40/17 would look on a 17x8.

rofl... but I bought a used pair of falken ziex's last night for like $20 and had like 90% tread left...

I couldn't let that go to waste

its not the stretch, its the fact that the sidewall is way too small...aka its look like rubber band tires

you need at least a 205/45/17, stock tire diameter would mean getting 205/50/17

nah, I didn't get them off Ray, I got it from the classifieds from the other site.

Yeah, I get whatcha mean, I didn't realize how small a 40 sidewall would be. I'm looking now for some 205/45's or 215/40s

i found a picture of 205/50 16 on 16x8 wheels..i guess they are streched but its ever so slightly..im a big fan of the slightly streched look.

but keep in mind that's got another 10mm of sidewall height.

It'd look real stretched if it was a 40-series.
