Pirrelli P0's dont cost too much, I have those on the rear. Great all around tires.

I had good experiences with Goodyear eagle F1's as a summer tire as well.

Bridgestone and Contintental are just brands... you need to tell us what specific tire model and size if you want any opinions.

I just finished a set of Kumho SPT's, and I do not recommend them. They're summer tires, and I had them on for only 2 seasons, and they're already at the wear-bar already.

I'm replacing them with General Exclaim UHP's and I've heard nothing but good things about them. Hopefully they last longer than the Kumho's.

General Exclaim UHP are a good cheap tire, if you can find them in the season and size you want.

Hankook Ventus V12s aren't bad, either, but they're pricier than General.

Well turns out the guy ordering the tires for me couldnt find the RE760's in stock, he is an idiot because he said they would be in today about 6 days after I ordered them and he decided just now to tell me he cant find them so i went to a local ETD tire spot and picked up Falken tires not sure if they are any good but only summer tire they had in house I didnt want to wait another day I have sh*t to do

Can you give more details on your experience with them? Tire wear? Noise?

The only complaint I read online about these tires are that some people complained about them having a soft sidewall. Did any of you find this to be true?

I was so glad to order them when I did, because the weekend after I ordered them the same site hiked the price of the tire (same size) by $20 per tire!!!!

@ JoeyBaggs: Since you mentioned them to be summers I assume you got the Falken FK-452's. I've heard lots of good things about them too, let us know how it goes!

I am looking for new tires also... I just picked up some 2011 Coupe SR 18" wheels. I went to sears to price them and they said 235/45/18... is that correct? I thought I could go with 225/45/18? Anyone have some input to this, it would be appreciated. :-)

I honestly dont know much but 235/45/18 is what i have and they are 18" but if you want low profile I believe the 45 becomes 35 but if you have 18s I think you should stick with 235/45/18 low profiles IMO are for 19s and up

Look for 235/40/18

Closest to factory overall diameter

Sweet will do. Wonder why Sears said 235/45/18 for the rim?

ive actually liked my SPTs. ive had them 3 seasons and are now ready to be replaced next summer. I thought they were awsome in the rain and i didnt find them loud at all. But i will probably try a different tire next time round.

I don't know how many KM's I put on the tires because I take them off each winter for my winter tires. I had them for barely 2 summers before they got down to the wear bars. Maybe your size of tires will have more tread than mine. I usually put my summers on sometime in March (i think) and take them off around end Oct / beginning of Nov.Rotating them regularly may help with the wear.

Besides the wear, I guess they were decent tires. I found them on the loud side, but maybe that's personal preference.

Just out of curiosity, how much did you get a set of 4 for? Was it a personal sale on CL or was it a shop? I'm always looking for cheap places to get tires. So far nobody here can even come close to the prices from US tire sites.

personal off craigslist, set of 4 brand new 19" tires for $300 :gapteeth: even if they only last me 2 seasons (i use snow tires in the winter too) it's still a great deal. before i got these i was going go with either general exclaims or khumo lx platinums from tirerack.

my tires are off now, i'm back on my snow tires/rims until i get the tires put back on, but i'm refinishing my rims before that happens, it's going to be an adventure. i really needed to get the old tires off, they were getting on the dangerously low side

Damn blackmobile! There is some serious negative camber on there. Anyway to align it out?

camber + non-stop aggressive cornering. i'm getting a drop this summer from racingline, i'm going to get an alignment done after the drop so that my tires will wear more evenly. the drop itself should even out the camber a bit, but i'd like to get totally even
