I have a 2003 350 Z, The original front tires were replaced and new align ment done by the dealer. I later replaced, the stock tires with Toyo proxies 4 with about 50 percent of tread left they were making the worst tire noise I had to replace them, and shortly after the rear. Now on my second set of Toyos I here a similar noise when breaking, or when turning sharp at low speed, I checked the brakes the seem to be fine. I am wondering if this a brake issue or a tire issue. Thanks

Could be tires, could be brakes, it could even be a wheel bearing. More details...

How many miles arew on the car? How many miles are you geting on the tires? Is the wear pattern even? When you checked your brakes did you check your pads to see how much material is left on them?

My money says it's most likely tires. The '03 & '04 Z's had some tire wear issues that Nissan issued a TSB to address.

And welcome to NICO! :badger

sounds like wheel bearing noise.
the two symptoms you describe, turning sharp and braking, are putting weight on the failed bearing.

Had a similar issue, it sounded like a 350z with boggers on it... It ended up being the tire I had put on was cupped, I took it back to the Nissan Dealer, and they replaced it, being it made the noise from the start.
