I purchased a new set of Bridgestone tires and received them in the mail today. They were manufactured on the 35th week of 2019.

Is this too old for new tires?

Absolutely. I'd contact the selling company and send them back.

That's 2 years ago. Better have been half-price for that kind of old stock.

I did and was offered a $250 credit on the order.
They were a set of Bridgestone Dueler Alenza Plus All Season Tires.

In that case, I think I'd accept.

They're counting on most buyers having no clue. Who was the online retailer?

Walmart

Had bought Michelins from them back in 2015 and they lasted until now. But they don’t make the size for this truck in the Michelin. 265 70 r15. So on to Bridgestone now

Ah. Yeah, they probably bought some close-out inventory from a chain store.

It's brilliant - Most people won't check the date code, so they can sell them at retail price. Even if 10% of customers take issue with it, they can throw you a partial refund and STILL make a profit on the tires.

I switched from Michelins to these same Bridgestones on factory 17" wheels two years ago, and I'm very happy with them in all respects (but can't tell on wear, as we haven't done enough miles.)
