Hey guys,
So the other day the warning for tire maintainance came on and I am not sure what the problem is. Its the first warning ever so Im not sure if I should take it back to the dealer or if it is something I can take care of myself. What should I do?

go to a gas station n fill ur tires w/air, lights should go off. If not, might have a hole in one of 'em.

it's definitely worth it to buy a good tire pressure gauge as infiniti_lineup mentioned, and a portable air compressor as well imo.
cost me $25 and $60 respectively, both are small and fit in the trunk nicely!
great to have for emergencies and regular maintenance of your tires.
you never have to drive up to a service station and can check/inflate/deflate all your cars at home (with beer in hand!)
