A load index of 95 is the generally accepted minimum. More is better! 96 or 97 would be better, for example.kdkrone wrote:What is the minimum tire load for a 1992 Q45?
The stock size 215/65/15 in a Falken 512 is 94. The 225/60/15 is 96. Which is acceptable? Which is desirable?
Is 94 enough? What would I notice between the 215 and the 225 tire width?
Thanks,Ken K
I find it incredible that Falken would make an OEMspecific size tire that doesn't meet OEM spedification! What were they thinking?kdkrone wrote: The stock size 215/65/15 in a Falken 512 is 94.
Actually, the tire website had the 215/65/15 as 94H load index and have now corrected it. In actual fact, the tire is 96H, so it is actually slightly higher than the minimum that is listed (95).maxnix wrote:I find it incredible that Falken would make an OEMspecific size tire that doesn't meet OEM spedification!
