I Have a 240 with a ca18det. It should make about 230whp. I am looking for some UHP/max grip tires for street use. I want something soft, predictable limits, and STICKY!

The Toyo RA-1, BFG G FORCE KDW/ KD, G Force Sport, Azenis 615, and Nitto 555 come to mind. i want some wet weather traction( afraid of something that will cause me to hydroplane to easy, but still a UHP tire.

What do you recommend? Wanted to get some opinions on this, people who have used these tires.

from that list id probably say the bfg kdw, if you want a little less expensive the g-force sport are good, i run avon tech m500 which are about the same in all respects as the g-force sport, the bfg's werent out when i got my tires or id have considered them

the rt615 is supposed to have much better wet weather abilities than the 215 did, but i havent heard from anybody that tried them exactly how good they work, same with the 555, i havent heard comments from anyone that tried them in the wet

ra-1 would not be a good idea

Hankook RS2's are pretty bad ***. I've been using them for a while now.

I had UHP hankooks, they are okay, looking for something with more Stick. I need SOME wet weather resistance, as I own a 240 with a ca18det. 230+whp.

Which has more dry grip the BFG G force Sport or KDW? the KD is expensive and would be scared to drive it in the rain here in FL.

How does the 615 handle in the wet? What about the ra-1? My only other choice is the nitto 555r.

Well, I don't know which hankooks you used. Judging by your comments, Id say NOT RS2's. RS2's have more dry grip than 615's (IMO). I live in FL and they are great in the rain.

ra-1's are marginal at best in rain, not advisable

the rs2 is derived from the RSS Z211, i havent driven on them but id assume theyre easily as good as dori says, and i have driven on RSS Z211's

a lot of people run rs2's in the rain for USTCC, where hankooks are spec tires, so id say thats definately another tire to consider
