hey there, I m in need of some new tires for the 240. i got some cheap wheels for now, they are 962's in a 17x9 +35. I like em for now so whatever, but i need to wrap em. I wanted to go 235/45/17 front and 255/40/17 rear, but seems like that may not be the greatest idea. So i need some size suggestions around those ranges, and if possible i would like to keep similar outer diameter if i need to change tires. I am looking at g Force sports or falken 615's. I need something that can take the rain but hooks up well. These will never see snow so a high performance summer tire is what im going for. Any suggestions? Ive been doing some research on several of the tires that i am considering, but i dont really trust the tire reviews on the tire stores' websites. I'd rather see what works for you guys who have a similar application. Also, i assume that i will have to roll and pull my fenders and possibly need spacers, but i have a stock body and its pretty low. other specs on the car are that its got an s13 redtop with gti-r turbo. Round 300 hp at 17-18psi is what im thinking but could be way off.

i dont know s*** about tire models and manufacturers.that being said.

235/40 for a square fit and grip215/40 for stretch and clearance if you're slammed

i guess 255/40 if you have power, want grip and dont want to go low. a lot of it comes down to what ride height you are going for, and what the cars purpose is.

ya sry i edited the above cuz i was in class and didnt have the time to type it all up. I would like to have a larger tire for grip and increase my ride height just a bit, but worst case is i could just adjust my suspension. I live around Chicago so i plan on getting a winter vehicle, but it does rain pretty good some times. I love driving this car and dont want to have to worry about the weather, but at the same time i would prefer to hook up. I know its sort of one or the other, but thats why im asking what your experiences are. Thanks
