Thanks for your input.. tiresize.com really simplified it alot. Amma go with 255/45/19 as they have more options and they are within my price range... 265/45/19 the options are kinda limited in regards to the brand I wanted and also price wise they are on the high side. Thanks once again for your help IIyaIlya wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 9:38 amhttps://tiresize.com/calculator/ does the math for you, you just have to know what you are okay with (speedometer being off), etc. It's a matter of preference really. If you aren't lowered, you can probably run 255 just fine.
Thank you, I decided to go with 255/45/19 Bridgestone Potenza /Goodyear Eagle RS-A.. they are within my price range.. 265/45/woukd have been great but they are high price wise
do you have pictures of the 255 45 19? I'll love to have a view of this specifications
Yes they do, it's supposed to kinda protect your rims from curbingmacgiver wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 3:39 pmI believe the Michie's are Pilot Sport 4 (All season ) at 255 45 19 , but they are gonna unbelievably , look just like the Tire Rack pictures , I've never posted pictures here - I'm technically challenged like that - really .
They do have that slight sidewall protrusion well outside of rim's " plane " . I CAN tell you , I think it's called 'squeezed' and I don't know what the skinny tire on big rim like Low riders do is called .........man just tried to lookup that terminology , no dice well no time for that now .
Unfortunately I don't have the car anymore, but it's not that big of a difference in terms of width, but sidewalk wise it has a little bit of of more meat, 45 side wall tire size was the perfect balance for me, it kinda irons out some of the harshness you get with skinnier tires and fills the rim well a little bit more, granted I could have lowered my AWD to the same hight as the sport model but I never got the chance.. Am currently in the market for an M45, I got my eye on one hopefully by the end of the month early March I will have it, on that M45 the owner has the 20 inch rims from the M56 sport model
thanks for the infoJooonam08 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 4:15 pmUnfortunately I don't have the car anymore, but it's not that big of a difference in terms of width, but sidewalk wise it has a little bit of of more meat, 45 side wall tire size was the perfect balance for me, it kinda irons out some of the harshness you get with skinnier tires and fills the rim well a little bit more, granted I could have lowered my AWD to the same hight as the sport model but I never got the chance..
