on the first pic, the hole you see is the stock hole for the fender liner to bolt into, after I took this pic, I simply took some tin snips and trimmed the bumper and the mud flap in the last pic. you can use other tools, a dremmel would work, but its likely you would melt the paint and it wouldn't really look all that great. with the snips, you could crack the paint, but I took the risk, and it turned up just fine. if the paint does crack, you could always use a power sander to remove a slight amount of the bumper, then to clean it up, use some 3M door guard stripping to protect it. I actually did this when I painted my motorcycle tank. around the edges it got messed up because some idiot (who will remain nameless cause I hate calling myself out....damit) didn't have the right equipment to hang the tank before I shot it with clear. needlsee to say, the edges of it were kind of messed up, but the 3M strips hide all imperfections very well. I painted my bike back in 2006, and to this day, its held up awesome, with no signs of imperfections.
