I just picked up a set of Work Eurolines and I was just wondering what size tires I should run for a slight stretch?

Wheel DimensionsFront: 18 x 9 +38 (2 inch lip)

Rear 18 x 9 +9 (4 inch lip)

I was thinking like 225/45/18 on the rear and 215/45/18 on the front or something like that. I am bad with tire sizing and I dont even know if those are actual dimensions haha. What size can I get a slight stretch with and still clear my fenders?

post pics of the wheels. 215 seems really narrow for a 9inch wheel but thats just me.

I dont have any pics of them. Yeah thats what I thought when I posted. But isnt 225=9 inches? should I run 225 all around? I would like a bit more stretch on the front, and not too much on the back. They still need to clear the fenders though.

i think 225 is like a 7.5-8 inch section width(depending on brand and model tire)... that said a 235 or 225 shoudbe good for a slight stretch

Depending on the tire, 225 to 235 would be a slight stretch on a 9 inch rim (a wheel sized at 9 inches wide is generally actually 10 inches wide). Also, I think you'll need a spacer up front or those wheels will hit the coilover/spring. I tried the same wheel size on the front of my car and mine hit.

okay So I'm going to run 225/40/ZR18 BFG G Forces in the front, and 225/40/R18 of some other BFGs I'm getting slightly used for $170 for 2. I dont want to run expensive tires on the rear. Not that I drive my car hard, but they will wear faster

mine JUST touches the spring on my coilovers. I picked up 4 or 5 mm spacers today. 8 mm was too wide for just a slip on one.

Okay with the spacers you should be fine. I had 255s mounted on mine when I tried to fit it and I couldn't even bolt the wheel on lol.
