I have a set of sport max 006 rims with 8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears on my s14. The tires that are on it right now are from the previous owner and they are just about completely thrashed (255/40/18) . I was wondering if I could go with maybe a set of 225/40/18 and have them still fit those wide a%$ rims?Thank you in advance

Yes they will fit, if thats the look you want. BTW, have you ever took a peek in the fitment database sticky? Very helpful

i am looking at getting the sportmax 006. but doing the 17x7 up front and the 18x9.5 in the back. the back should be fine but the front you think it will need a spacer just to sit out a little.

dont stagger 2.5"

it should be illegal on a 240 unless its like an 18x10/18x12.5 or something of that level

I think you will not like the feel of driving a car with those sizes on the road. It won't handle right

i got 245/40/17 in the front and 245/45/17 in the rear and it sometimes handles weird in certain conditions.. but mostly i love it

lol good one slappy. The only reason i'm using them is because they came with the car and i'm WAY too poor to afford another set of rims.

no, that will feel horrible

i cant remember the offsets they come in, but youll definately need spacers

look into 17x9 front 18x9.5 rear with as low of offsets as possible

and stop posting the same damn question in other wheel fitment threads too. It's rude and redundant.

sorry adrian. i just thought i would get more coverage. i was looking through the tire wheel offset thread. and saw one car Broadfeild's car has these 5 Lug Conversion18x8.5 +32 245/4018x10 +44 275/35

those off sets are about the same as the sportmax 006 with in a few mm the back fits nicley on broadfeilds car.

Would there be any problem with going with 225/40/18 all the way around the car? Any handling issues? Sorry for the newbness

yeah itll probably make it feel funny, and it will defiantly look funny

plus it defeats the purpose of buying staggered wheels

I think i'll just go like 215/40/18 up front and a 225/40/18 out back. Thanks
