hey guys .. well i needed help . i was wondering idf theres a way to re route the wiring that goes under the drivers front fender. i have 18x8.5 rims in front and i guess with my coilovers the car is too low or i guesss when i got over bumps the tires bounces up and starts eating away at the harness.. so now my wires are bare and touching each other which causes a short in my fuse box.. its making my lil fuses bust.. any suggestions..? thanks guys! :ohno:

Most people just zip tie the harness out of the way.

When I had my 240 I moved the harness up some so it wouldn't rub. Just used zip ties. The hood latch might be a problem for you, but since I had hood pins I just cut it off. Also, you should either hammer or grind down that pinch weld. When I had my car lowered, it would eat into the tire under hard turns.

Here's some pics.

Do it like that and make a protection plate for the back side of it so it does not rub while turning and hitting bumps.

Isn't this common knowledge among the 240 crowd? Even Sport Compact Car magazine had an article featuring this on their 240SX project car.
