tire dilemma

i am just gonna copy and paste the email i sent to luke at tirerack.com to see what you guys have to say.

I have a 1993 Nissan 300ZX and i have a tire dilemma. To make a long story short, my old aftermarket wheels were 17x8 front and 17x9 rear, one cracked and so now i have 2 235/45/17 and 2 275/40/17 Fuzion tires. I just acquired a new set of aftermarket wheels that are 17x8 all around, and so I do not have to buy a full set of tires, I am just going to put my 235/45/17 tires on the front wheels. Now here is my question, for the rear wheels, should i go with the same 235/45/17 tire size or I was thinking about going a little bit wider with a 245/40/17 on the rear. What do you think would be the best? FYI, I do auto-cross and I do go to track days. Thanks.

id just run the 235 all around so you could rotate and whatnot, itll be easier
