For those of you who drive your 240 year round, I was wondering what you do to drive in the snow. I am in the mids of purchasing new tires and was wondering If I should sacrafice performance and get a tire that is good for snow. I was thinking of getting snow tires for the rear once it get cold out. Some help would be great as I am on a student budget at this point and don't have enough money for two full sets of tires.

Moving to tires.

I drive mine year round and do nothing special but check the air pressure. Our snow doesn't get that bad in my area.

However, you can buy a set of snow tires and mount them on two extra wheels (steelies if you want) and run the rears on snow tires when it gets bad out.

The big thing is to drive slowly and carefully. RWD cars, even with snow tires, can get squirrely in the snow, and you can find yourself swapping ends very fast.
