hey guys

i'm looking for a good, low priced tire that's aggressive, for hard street and some track use

my budget's less than $100 per tire; i've been looking at falken azenis st115's in 215/40/17 for my 17x7" ssr integral a2's.

just curious if there were any other choices (maybe something that gives up a bit of grip for more mileage?) in the same price range.

if it matters at all, i'm running rs*r springs over ohlins coilovers, and i'm in southern california

thanks guys :)

Why cheap out on the tires... the tires will provide more performance gain than those mods you listed.

ST115's aren't bad... look towards a Kumho MX as well.

hmm, would the falken azenis sport, which come in at about $105 each in 225-45-17 be good?

i'm concerned about the size

thanks

if you are looking for a tire that gives up grip for more mileage, the azenis is not the best choice heh.

Also this is probably more costly than you were looking for, but i have heard good things about the avs sport, seems to be a good compromise between cost and performance, *shrug*

To meet your criteria including price point, the Kumho MX might be a good choice(like Alan said). TireRack has them.
