I'm looking to get a lot more grip than I currently have with 205/55/15 on stock SE wheels.

I was wondering if I should run 225/50/16 all around on these sizes or 225/50/16 in the front and 245/50/16 in the rear. The nice thing about 225s is I can run Kumho mx front and rear. otherwise I'll be getting yoko es100.

will the rears bulge a lot with 245 on a 8" rim?

If you already have the 8" rear the 245 will be the better size for that wide of a rim. 225s would be pretty streched out. If it was the same rim width then the stickier tire in a 225 would be the best bet all the way around.

oh one more question. the 225/50/16 looks like a very large sidewall. would it be advisable to run 225/45/16 on the front and 245/45/16 on the rear?

one other thing.

I found out 16x7.5 buddy club P1 will clear Z brakes in +22 and +32

will the +22 front stick out of the fender on my s13?
