Out of curiosity, are these the stock plastic (gray/metal looking) caps or did you or someone replace them with aftermarket metal ones at some point?

Reason I ask is that the TPMS stems are aluminum if I'm not mistaken and using certain metal caps can actually cause them to corrode and fuse together. This is an industry-wide issue with TPMS stems.

If you have the standard plastic ones, then you just need a bit of coaxing. Sometimes, you can break it loose easier if you actually turn it back and forth (tighten slightly, then loosen).

I wished I had known about that before, mine (purchased pre owned) had after market metal ones....and wouldn't ya know sum b**** corroded the stem and snapped it half. Needless to say I didn't want to take the chance with any of that aftermarket stuff and it cost me over $100 to fix it, for one.....and another few dollars for the stupid plastic stock caps. Lessoned learned I guess, to add to the conversation, to my knowledge and how it was explained to me, they needed to be set in and programmed to the computer in order for it to work properly. Mine was blinking for a week until I went back and had them reprogram it, My guy at STS who is the ONLY one I would trust touching my vehicle said it usually programs itself within a few miles of driving. Mine did not, so it took him like 10 minutes to connect the computer and re program it (whatever the hell that entails). Good Luck
