hey guys hope everyone is doing well!
I need some advice from the pros and experienced people with tires, wheels and drops.
i was on coilovers bfore with stock wheels. long story short, i had to take them out because the front right end broke.
NOW im installing 19"s (axis shadows), with eibach springs. the question is: what size tires would be more appropriate to install. r we talking 245/40/19, 245/35/19. or any other suggestions? thanks! help would be greatly appreciated. :gapteeth:

What is the width of the 19s? I assume 8 or 8.5"?

The difference between 245/40 and 245/35 is minimal.

245/40 Is slightly bigger than OEM overall diamter.
245/35 is slightly smaller.

You could run either one, as long as the width of the wheel accommodates it.

hey beasy nice to hear from you.
the width is 19x8, offset: 45, centerbore 73 (i already bought hubcentric rings) and 5x114.3. i called a tire shop and the gentleman recommended 235/35/19 after i said i was going to be lowering it with springs. whats up with that? ive been looking around for a while, i am about ready to place an order as soon as possible.

That size will work. Personally Id try to get a little more sidewall in there though.

+1. More sidewally usually means a slightly more comfortable ride, and you'll want that if you're stiffening up the suspension. Also fills up the wheel well a little better.

245 might be a bit too much rubber for an 8" wheel. I run 245/40/19 on my 8.5" wide wheels and they are crammed in there pretty good.
